What to Expect: 

Community Cleanup:

Pitch in and assist your fellow residents in tidying up your neighborhood, making it more resilient against potential fire hazards. Working together to clean individual homes together and individually. 

Parkland County FireSmart Booth:

Our local FireSmart Assessors from Parkland County Fire will be joining us with an informative booth on FireSmart practices. Get valuable tips and insights on safeguarding your property. 

BBQ:

What's a community event without some delicious food? Enjoy a BBQ hosted and provided by Parkland County as we celebrate our collective efforts and achievements. 

Pre-Event Assessment: 

To kick-start our efforts, one week prior to the event, the Parkland County FireSmart Coordinator will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the neighborhood. This will help identify key concerns and guide our cleanup efforts for maximum impact. 

How to Participate: 

Gather your friends and family and pick a date to host an event. Sign up for an Advanced FireSmart Home Assessment to be completed of your homes in the neighbourhood. Then show up ready to make a difference! Let's work together to create a safer, more resilient neighborhood for generations to come.
